FUNDY NUCLEAR: Risks of Environmental Damage "Remote"

Not long ago the risks in Japan were also "remote". As some folks here know and have experienced, the shape and bathymetry of the Bay along with increasing storm surges and our storm history make it inevitable that the wrong combination will swamp Point Lepreau at some point in time. We've been living with good luck since this nuclear generating facility was fired up. Questionable geology, faults at the doorstep, bad construction practices, In adequate backup water, and sabotage are all part of its history. Time to thank the gods and decommission this facility as originally planned.
